Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Review & Alternative

Xiaomi's Mi 11 Ultra is part of  premium lineup and has been dubbed the “King of Android”. The cell phone has in its technical sheet powerful specifications, secondary screen with Mi Band 5 panel and the triple camera. Another highlight is the 5,000 mAh battery , which according to the manufacturer Xiaomi's Mi 11 Ultra can be fully recharged in 36 minutes. It come in two colors Black and White.

Screen and Design

AMOLED screen on Xiaomi's new Mobile phone is curved and has 6.8 inches. The display features Quad HD + resolution (3200 x 1440p) and 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition, support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 + ensures higher image quality. The smartphone has Gorilla Glass Victus shielding , Corning's latest technology, while the back side is made of ceramic.

The Mi 11 Ultra features the front camera in a hole in the top corner. The rear houses, in addition to the three cameras, the second screen, one of the highlights of the device. The 1.1-inch AMOLED rear display is the same as the Mi Band 5, Xiaomi's smart wristband. According to the manufacturer, the secondary screen is intended to allow the user to take selfies with the rear sensors. The first smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is from the Chinese manufacturer that has the Time-of-Flight (ToF) laser focusing system that ensures greater precision and speed to focus images. Another highlight is the zoom, the telephoto lens provides up to 120x digital and 5x optical zoom.

The Mi 11 Ultra uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 processor . The chip has eight cores and a maximum speed of 2.4 GHz that works alongside 8 or 12 GB RAM memory. With internal storage, the device offers models with 256 and 512 GB. Just like Apple cell phones , there is no memory card support.


The Mi 11 Ultra's battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 67 Watt wireless and wired fast charging . The manufacturer promises that the phone can be fully charged in 36 minutes. In addition, Xiaomi's device features a 10 Watt reverse charging system , which allows you to share the available battery with other devices without the need for wires and sockets.

Android version and additional features

The Mi 11 Ultra leaves the factory running Android 11 with the Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 interface . The operating system of Google offers features such as mobile screen recording, new options for data privacy and new settings for the dark mode.

Other features present in the smartphone are support for 5G networks, NFC , infrared to control other devices, fingerprint reader under the screen, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Added to this, the IP68 certification , which makes the device resistant to water and dust.
