Asus Zenfone 8 issues with Android 12 beta update

So far, after reporting a lot of issues with older version the Asus has released the very first beta of Android 12 for the Zenfone 8 smartphone in May. The first build came with a lots of Android 12 features but with some bugs. However, Asus has now released the second beta build of Android 12 for the Zenfone 8 with fixing a bunch of bugs as reported by users. Let's get started..

Asus Zenfone 8 Second Android 12 beta update

Fixing the bugs issue with Asus Zenfone 8, the Android 12 beta update with build number 31.0803.0403.54 is coming to the registered Asus Zenfone 8 users in the Android 12 beta program. However there is no new features, but it comes with a bunch of bug fixes. In addition, it brings the Android security patch for September 2021. The version is based on the beta 4 of Android 12 which was released by Google last month. The build is expected to be unstable as it is based on a beta build of Android 12.

Asus Zenfone 8 Specifications

The Asus Zenfone 8 comes with a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. It comes with a dual rear camera setup led by a 64 MP-megapixel camera with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with autofocus. It has a 12 MP front camera for selfies. The Zenfone 8 comes with a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The smartphone runs ZenUI 8 on Android 11. It is priced at Rs. 44000 (Approx).

System stability issues.

Camera stability issues.

Miracast stability issues.

Outdoor mode is not supported.

Fingerprint recognition rate is lower than desirable when device screen is off.

Battery status displayed in settings may be inaccurate.

Compatibility issues with third-party applications.
